The Chair of Innovation Economics successfully participated at the ITU Kaleidoscope conference in Barcelona, Spain. The conference focused on “Trust in the Information Society”, analyzing means of building trusted information infrastructures. The paper on “Regulation and Standardization of Data Protection in Cloud Computing” by Martin Löhe (Technical University Berlin) and Knut Blind (Technical University Berlin, Fraunhofer FOKUS, Erasmus University Rotterdam) received the award of the second best paper.
Dr. Simone Wurster co-authored the third best paper on “Raising trust in security products and systems through standardisation and certification: the CRISP approach” by Irene Kamara (Vrije Universiteit Brussels), Thordis Sveinsdottir (Trilateral Research & Consulting, LLP) and Simone Wurster (Technical University Berlin).
